Abara Author Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how eNyota Learning Inc. (“Abara Author,” “we,” “us”) collects and uses Personal Data in connection with the Abara Author website, accounts, subscriptions, communications and related business activities. 2. When This Policy Applies
This policy applies when Abara determines why and how Personal Data is processed, for example for website visitors, prospects, account administrators, Authorized Users, support contacts and other business contacts.
When a business customer uses Abara Author to upload or create Customer Content containing Personal Data, that customer generally determines the purposes of processing and Abara processes the data on the customer’s behalf. That processing is governed by our Data Processing Terms, or, where separately executed, a DPA and the customer’s own privacy obligations.
3. Personal Data We Collect
- Account and business-contact data, such as name, work email, organization, job title, country and account identifiers.
- Subscription and transaction data, such as plan, seats, billing status, invoices and business billing details. Payment-card data may be handled directly by a payment provider where applicable.
- Usage and device data, such as IP address, browser/device information, log data, feature usage, timestamps and diagnostic information.
- Communications, such as sales inquiries, support requests, survey responses and other correspondence.
- Website and preference data collected through cookies or similar technologies, subject to applicable consent requirements.
- Information you choose to provide when requesting a demo, trial, event, newsletter or other communication.
4. Customer Content and AI Features
Customer Content may include documents, prompts, instructions and other materials submitted to Abara Author. Where we process Personal Data contained in Customer Content on behalf of a business customer, we do so as a Processor in accordance with our Data Processing Terms, or, where separately executed, a DPA and the customer’s instructions.
Abara Author may use third-party AI service providers to process Input and generate Output when users request AI-enabled functionality. Additional terms concerning Abara Author’s use of AI providers and Customer Content are set out in our Terms of Service.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure our website and Services. We also use analytics and advertising technologies, including Google Analytics, Google Ads and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, to understand website usage, measure performance and marketing effectiveness, and support our advertising activities.
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies and similar technologies, we request consent through our cookie controls before using those technologies. You can manage your preferences through our cookie controls.
7. How We Share Personal Data
We do not sell Personal Data for money. We may share Personal Data with:
- Service providers and Subprocessors that help us host, secure, support and operate Abara Author;
- AI service providers when a user requests AI-enabled functionality;
- Payment, accounting, communications, analytics and customer-support providers as applicable;
- Professional advisers, auditors, insurers and authorities where reasonably necessary;
- An acquirer or successor in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business; and
- Other parties where you direct us to share information or where required by law.
8. International Transfers
Abara and its service providers may process Personal Data in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or other lawful mechanisms.
9. Data Retention
We retain Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, taking into account the nature of the information, the purposes for which it is processed, our contractual and business requirements, and applicable legal, tax, accounting, security and regulatory requirements.
We may also retain information where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When Personal Data is no longer required for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our applicable retention practices.
Customer Content is retained and deleted in accordance with the Abara Author Customer Subscription Agreement, applicable Data Processing Terms or DPA, and our applicable deletion practices.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or objection to processing of your Personal Data, and rights relating to portability, withdrawal of consent or certain automated decisions. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
To exercise a privacy right concerning data for which Abara is the Controller, contact compliance@enyotalearning.com. We may need to verify your identity. If your request concerns Customer Content controlled by an Abara customer, please contact that customer first; we will assist the customer as required by our Data Processing Terms, or, where separately executed, a DPA.
12. Marketing Choices
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing communications necessary to administer an account, subscription or business relationship.
13. Children
Abara Author is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children through our website or account-registration process except where a business customer lawfully includes such data in Customer Content, in which case Abara processes it on that customer’s behalf under our Data Processing Terms, or, where separately executed, a DPA.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, Services or legal requirements. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required by law.
